Weekly AnnouncementsWeekly Announcements   Here are the announcements from this Sunday's bulletin:

  • Sunday School for all ages continues. Please prayerfully consider bringing your children and grandchildren each week. Classes include Pre-School, Elementary, middle and senior high, and 2 adult classes. Volunteer teachers are still needed. If you would like to help, please call the office at 336-3346. Also, Dr. Jim’s class has begun the study of the Christian Doctrine. Join Us!
  • Remember our church on your birthday.
  • We are needing volunteers to bring donuts, donuts holes, breakfast pastries, etc. each week for Sunday School. We would need them at the church by 9:30 AM. Please call the church office if you are able to provide these for any specific Sunday.
  • Mark your calendars:
    > December 11th PW Ornament Exchange 6:00 PM at the home of Michele Huckaby
    > December 17th Reenactment of Nativity during 11:00 AM worship
    > December 19th Community Choir Music Program at 7:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church
    > December 24th Christmas Eve Service 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM
    > December 24th Christmas Eve Candlelight Service 6:00 PM
    > December 31st New Year’s Eve Service 6:00 PM
  • El Buen Vecino is in desperate need of children’s clothes, shoes, blankets, and coats.
  • Buy a window? Please see the flyer in this week's bulletin.
  • Noisy offering for Christmas Joy has started and continues until Epiphany. It goes for retired members and missionaries and to our racial ethnic ministries.
  • Potluck follows 11:00 worship. There will be plenty of food! Please plan to stay!

Homebound Outreach  Our late worship service is always broadcast live on KFST 860 AM each Sunday morning beginning at 11:00 AM. We would also be honored to bring our homebound members the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Call the church office to make arrangements.

Cub Scouts   Cub Scout Pack 154 is sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church.   The Cub Scout program is for boys 7-10 years of age.   Any boy wishing to join Cub Scouts can contact Valerie Waters, Cubmaster, at (432) 336-3937 for further information.
