Whether you are planning a trip, in Fort Stockton overnight, moving to town, or seeking a church home, Christ’s family at 1st Church will welcome you with open arms. Our church family is at once both a worshiping and witnessing community caring for each other and reaching out to the world. Come be the church with us for a day or a lifetime. Let’s worship and study together. Through our fellowship let’s glorify God, always seeking where Jesus Christ is at work in the world and joining our Lord there!

What’s Happening Now . . .

As we vacation, let’s prayerfully pledge to the church before you go.

We now have summer hours at the church office. We are open 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday) during the summer months.

Please help us keep the prayer chain current and correct. Updates are appreciated.

Dr. Jim, CRE Ann Hurt, and elder Angie Miles represented us at Presbytery in Odessa last Friday.

Tanner Booe, Andrew Franco, Garrett Huckaby, Hayden Jackson, Savanah Lacy, Maddie Ripley, and Kylie Ruiz are attending the Synod Youth Workshop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Keep them in your prayers.

This is the time of year when people move. Please take the time to invite new coworkers, neighbors, attendees at social functions or service clubs to come and be the church with us at 2nd and Oklahoma; then, invite them to lunch afterwards. Most people make the decision to attend church and choose a congregation within 6 to 8 weeks of their move.

Women of the church: Mark your calendars early for this year’s Sip and Dip to be held on July 17th at 6:30 PM at the home of SuSu Dyess.
